Frequently Asked Questions

What secondary operations does Marcus provide after die casting?
Marcus offers a full spectrum of secondary operations to deliver finished, ready-to-use components. These include precision CNC machining, surface treatments (powder coating, anodising, plating, wet painting, e-coat), heat treatment, polishing, blasting, resin impregnation, and mechanical/electro-mechanical assembly.
How does CNC machining add value to the die casting process?
CNC machining ensures that tolerances, complex geometries, and functional features are achieved with absolute precision. Using more than 20 CNC machining centers (3/4/5 Axis VMCs, Turn-mill, and drill-tap centers), Marcus delivers high accuracy components ready for assembly, reducing post-processing at the customer’s end.
What types of surface treatments are available at Marcus?
We provide both protective and decorative finishes to meet diverse application requirements. Options include powder coating, wet painting, anodising, chrome & nickel plating, e-coat, shot blasting, vibro polishing, chromation, and heat treatment. These processes improve durability, corrosion resistance, and aesthetic value of the manufactured component.
Can Marcus handle full assembly operations for components?
Yes. With dedicated semi-automated assembly lines, Marcus produces mechanical, electro-mechanical, and plastic injection sub-assemblies. This reduces the need for multiple vendors, streamlines supply chains, and ensures customers receive fully finished products directly from our facilities.
